Dr. Garrison started the Centreville practice in 1975 after graduating from Cornell University in 1971. He treated farm animals in the community until 1996. He resides with his wife, Kathy, and their two Brittany Spaniels, Suzie and Queue. Their two daughters, husbands, and five grandchildren round out the extended family. Dr. Garrison was awarded the Virginia Veterinarian of the Year Award from the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association in 2002.
